Itchi Ryuu

Nickname: Ebony Dragon

Appearance: Ryuu has a somewhat dark complexion, at least in comparison to the average Japanese. He is relatively muscular, being about 6’0” and 190 lbs. He has jet black hair that reaches down to his shoulders in a somewhat messy fashion, occasionally covering parts of his face. He wears a black leather jacket on top of a dark grey shirt with a dragon on it. His dark blue jeans are somewhat baggy and ripped in places due to distress over the years that they’ve been worn. Ryuu is usually seen in a slouched position.
History: The Itchi twins grew up in the slums of Japan. Their mother died in childbirth, and their father was a drunk, abusive man. The only way they were able to deal with their father was with the comfort of each other. From a very young age, these twins became absolutely inseparable. At the age of eight, they ran away from home. They ended up living in the streets, which they saw as better than living with their father. Through teamwork, these two were able to make a living for themselves, whether by stealing, foraging, or doing odd jobs. They earned their education on the streets, learning what they needed to get by and then some. As they reached their mid-teens, they were able to support themselves reasonably well. Their thriftiness took them from finding money for the next meal to finding money to get a nicer jacket. When they were seventeen, they heard about the new AT craze. Upon deciding that it might be a good investment, they saved up for a month to buy a pair of ATs each. Using these, the Itchi twins were a force to be reckoned with. Their thefts became larger scale and their jobs became better paying. On their eighteenth birthday, they decided it was time to use the ATs for what they were meant for and created a team together: Consonance.
Personality: Ryuu is slightly introverted, like his brother. He speaks openly to Tora, but when he speaks to others, he does so in a somewhat brooding manner. He almost never makes direct eye contact, except with his brother. Though he sometimes appears to be a brute, his brooding manner hides his thinking. He is a bit violent at times, but is easily calmed down by his brother. These violent flashes are caused by an abusive childhood and resentment towards his father.

Custom AT Modification: Ryuu’s ATs have blades on either side of the wheels. These blades are circular and rotate with the wheel. They have a smaller radius than the wheel so that the blades do not touch the ground while riding without leaning to either side excessively. However, when pressed into skin, the buzz saw-like blades make contact, delivering cuts that are up to 3 mm deep. In addition, the wheels are made to create much friction, preventing slippage and building up a good amount of heat on the surface of the wheels for attacks.
Signature Tricks:
Dragon Claw – Ryuu accelerates in place to build up friction in his wheels, then races towards the opponent, jumps, and delivers an upward kick. This can result in long, shallow cuts and minor friction burns.
Rising Dragon – Ryuu uses his high friction wheels to jump from wall to wall when riding vertically, gaining altitude with each jump. This is both useful for evasion and racing.
Dragon Fang – Ryuu uses his leg strength to jump high in the air, then descends upon an opponent with one leg outstretched, aiming for a downward slash. Somewhat inaccurate, but if it connects, the downward force due to gravity, combined with the AT blades and activation of the high-friction wheels upon contact can do a good amount of damage.
Goal: Prove his worth and become a king, along with his brother, Tora
